Electronic  Air Waybill e-AWB

It is with great pleasure that Geocargo becomes the first forwarder in Portugal and the second in Europe to sign the Multilateral e-AWB Agreement. On last May 1st, Geocargo and IATA (International Air Transport Association) signed the agreement. An important first step to start issuing electronic air waybill. The e-AWB project replaces the paper AWB with an electronic contract of carriage between the freight forwarder and the airline.
