How often are you confronted with the indecision of which to carry in your baggage because of restriction of weight and number of volumes on your travels by plane?
Because we want you to be able to take everything you need, Geocargo solves your excess baggage problem at a cost considerably lower.
Door Service
Since your domicile or place of collection to point of delivery at destination, we take care of everything for you. All expenses are paid in Portugal and your luggage is sent and delivered to the address you specify. (for deliveries in "ground-floor" unless another service is requested).
Service Door-Airport uncleared
Also in this level of service we collect the baggage at your home, we deal with everything up to sending the luggage to the destination airport. On arrival you will be contacted to raise and customs clear your luggage personally, having to pay all destination costs, usually related to handling at the airport (if storage exceeds the free period if any) and expenses with Customs.
At this level of service you may choose to come to our office (see here for location) with your luggage as an alternative to collection by our services in your home.
ABSOLUTELY FORBIDDEN TO TAKE IN YOUR LUGGAGE: (under the provisions of Regulation (EC) No. 820 / 2008 of 8 August)
Explosives, including detonators, fuses, grenades and mines and explosives;
gases, including propane and butane;
Flammable liquids, including gasoline and methanol;
Flammable solids and reactive substances, including magnesium, tinder, fireworks and flares;
Oxidizers and organic peroxides, including bleach and paint touch-up kits for cars;
Toxic or infectious substances, including rat poison and infected blood;
Radioactive material, including medical isotopes and other isotopes in the market;
Corrosives, including mercury, vehicle batteries;
Components of the fuel system of vehicles that have contained fuel. "
You must be aware that being a more economical service must always have a period of 3-5 days to have your luggage available at destination.
